Natal tahun ini tidaklah apa-apa tanpa baju baru, 

toh baju yang lama masih layak tuk dipakai

Natal tahun ini tidaklah perlu merayakan dengan makan makanan yang berlimpah ruah, 

yang secukupnya saja yang penting sehat dan bergizi

Karena...

Dibelahan dunia yang lain, 

masih banyak saudara kita yang tidak berpakaian

Dibelahan dunia yang lain, 

masih banyak saudara kita yang tidak mempunyai makanan 

tuk dimakan dan minuman tuk diminum

Entah karena ditimpa sakit penyakit/kemiskinan? 

bencana kelaparan kah? 

bencana alam kah? 

atau peperangan?

Mereka dengan bersusah payah berjuang 

tuk mempertahankan hidup ditengah situasi dan kondisi yang sulit

Mereka tegar, mereka kuat 

dan tak berputus harap dalam menjalani hidup ini

Doaku dimasa menjelang natal kali ini

Biarlah kasih setiaMu, ya Tuhan

Biarlah sukacitaMu, ya Tuhan

dan juga damai sejahteraMu 

melingkupi dan menyertai mereka seumur hidup...

Selamat natal engkau yang disana, 

Tuhan mengasihimu sebagaimana Tuhanpun mengasihiku...

My Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my marriage. 

Thank you for giving me a man who loves me and encourages me throughout the day. 

We are not perfect, but we do strive to love each other like you love. 

Thanks for the awesome example! 

I pray over my marriage and ask that you would continue to water our relationship. 

I desire to see it grow and mature. 

I also desire more time to talk to my husband. 

Lately we have been rushing all over or working so much that our conversations have been brief. 

I crave that connection with my husband and need it to thrive. 

Help me to be strong while our attention is divided and please bring us back to connect in a good conversation soon and very soon in Jesus name AMEN!
